Wood Mallets is located in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand although orders can be delivered anywhere in the world usually within a few days. The majority of our orders are placed via the internet and exported, although local customers are welcome to visit most days by appointment.
Directions from Otane to Wood Mallets
Otane is just off the main road, 25 minutes South of Hastings and 10 minutes North of Waipukurau. Drive East straight through the township of Otane for about 2km until you come to a T Junction signposted Elsthorpe to the left and Racecourse Road to the right. Turn left. The Tod Road bridge was washed away in the Cyclone so you need to drive past the Tod Road sign for a further 2 km's and take Evan Road to the right. This joins up with Tod road. From the junction, we're the first on the right. It’s a large brown and white homestead called “The Park” with several farm buildings. Rapid # 280. Take the second gateway signposted Wood Mallets.
If coming from the South, it's slightly quicker to take Tamumu Road out of Waipawa then turn left onto the other end of Tod Road.
Often customers drive considerable distances to visit. We have a cottage on the property which can be booked for short term stays. Click to view: The Cottage
